Construction Noise and Vibration Monitoring
Wieland Acoustics can provide a broad range of construction noise and vibration monitoring solutions, from short-term measurements of specific activities to long-term monitoring of a construction site over the course of months, or even years. Monitoring may be required by a project’s Environmental Impact Report (EIR) in order to verify whether construction activities exceed applicable standards. Excessive noise or vibration can cause annoyance or interfere with sensitive activities at adjacent properties. In the most serious cases, excessive vibration may even lead to architectural damage of buildings.
